ProBlog premium wordpress theme by Magazine3 is one of my favorite wordpress theme for Tech niche blog. ProBlog theme is one of the best wordpress theme for Technology blog and believe me it will take your whole blog to the whole new level with great experience and excellent support. this theme is generally suitable to Tech Blog, General Blogging, Tech Journals and for other use depends upon like and dislike of the main user and their readers. i came across this theme quite long a go and was very keen to purchase it and i finally did it, and after giving a try i am very happy with it. themes comes with so many build in customization options which i will going to discuss in further part of this review.

Detailed Review of ProBlog Premium WordPress Theme by Magazine3 :

Every good things comes with it’s own cost so as this theme also. this is a premium wordpress theme so you have to purchase it but i guarantee you that you will not regret on your decision of  purchasing this theme. themes are available in various packages as per the requirement of the user/buyer. select the package you want and make a payment through PayPal or the alternative option which is mentioned there.

After you purchased this theme you have to install it on your wordpress blog and that you can to by going to Appearance >> Themes >> Upload and select the zip file which you have downloaded. it will take few minutes to upload your file and after that you have to activate it by clicking the “Activate” button. ones this is done the most important part comes that is to validate your license. just refresh your main site page and you will see a screen like this :

I liked this concept very much because due to this people can’t misuse the themes and the creators get their own money and efforts worth. So you have to insert your email address through which you have purchased the theme. once you enter it click on “Activate” button and refresh the page and you will able to see the brand new look of your blog with ProBlog Magazine3 themes.

To do more customization and to make some changes you have to login to your wordpress dashboard and you will see a new section for this theme, see the below screenshot :

This contains all the options related to your theme customization and other options. the theme options part is divided in to 7 parts which are :

1. Global.
2. HomePage.
3. Single.
4. Fonts.
5. Social.
6. Ads.
7. Advance.

i will explain you every part with what is the use of it and you will come to know how to use it according to your needs and requirements. so lets start with it and go to the first par which is Global Part.

1) Global Section – ProBlog WordPress Theme :

As the name suggest this part includes your website/blog logo, favicon, any tracking code such as Google Analytics and lastly the copyright text which you want to display. the navigation is so easy to use that even a newbie can handle it with ease. The next section is homepage section which includes options like Slider,Slider Position, Slider Category, Featured Section, Featured Section category. you can enable/disable as per your requirement. if you need slider then enable and select the category which you want to display in slider. same as for the featured post also.

3) Single Page/Post Section – ProBlog WordPress Theme :

The third part is of the single post/page option which includes Author Box, Social Sharing, Meta Data, Related Post and number of related post. it’s all easily customizable and you can enable/disable it as per your needs and requirements. this all small small things very handy to have like the related post option so that there is no need of extra plugin to show related post.

4) Fonts and Link Customization Options – ProBlog WordPress Theme :

In the section you can customize your H1 to H6 tags including font family, font size and font color. other then this you can also customize the link color and link hover color so you don’t have to touch the CSS code which quite good for those who don’t have much idea about it. see i have attached the full screenshot of it so that you can get the complete idea of it.

5) Social Sharing Option – ProBlog WordPress Theme :

This is quite good option as you can directly enable/disable the social sharing option from the theme control panel only so that there is no need of an extra plugin for this. this include Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Google +, Dribbble, YouTube and many more such.

6) Advertisements Options – ProBlog WordPress Theme :

You can directly insert the ads from the theme control panel only and the best part about this all is that they have provided the small help button to the right side of each options so if you don’t know about it you can simply hover your mouse pointer on it and it will show you what this will do.

7) Advance Option (Yoast SEO) – ProBlog WordPress Theme : 

The advance option is for SEO purpose and this is the best part of this theme that it provides all in one SEO option by providing the WordPress SEO Yoast Plugin so no need to install it separately and i am using this plugin on all of my site and it’s the best WordPress SEO plugin and that too for FREE. if you don’t know about what is this, then do visit this blog regularly because soon i am going to write an article on SEO for WordPress.

When you add a new post there are tons of options available on the post panel like you can directly add a video, button shortcode, Highlighter, Google Chart, Twitter and so much and this is what i like about this theme. it reduces your number of plugins by providing such a great options.

Another option is there for the post and is of thumbnails, you can place your post thumbnails to center, right, left or the whichever position you want and that you can do so by selecting the option which is provided in the right sidebar options :

Geeky Gyaan Verdict :

To be frank i am amazed to see such a good feature and that too in theme. all can’t go for Thesis and Genesis as they cost much more but i am sure you can go for this as the cost is not as high and it comes which some extra ordinary features with great options of customizations.
