We all know about the so called “Aakash Tablet- The Worlds Cheapest Tablet” and the hype is so high that everyone wants to buy this tablet. but wait..!! before buying such tablet you should know is it really worth it? ya i know it cost near about Rs 3000 but that much also is worth it or not? well that is the big question arises when you are getting a tablet like thing at such a low cost. so i am hear to guide you whether you should buy this Aakash tablet or not? and as the Valentine Day is coming all boys are in mind to give some cool gifts to their respective Girl Friend/Friends (Yes that “S” matters) so i will be helping you like your Love Guru and tell you that why you should not gift Aakash Tablet to your Girl Friend.

Without wasting much time i will let you know the 10 Reasons why you should not gift Aakash Tablet to your Girl Friend on Valentine Day or on any other day 
Reasons Not Gift Aakash Tablet to your Girl Friend :
First of all we know how difficult is to maintain a good and healthy relationship with our Girl Friend. we have to do lots of thing and specially have to come up with new and new GIFTS 
. whenever a fight happens between Boy Friend and Girl Friend its always Archies Gallery who won’s in the end, so this gifts matters a lot at least for me( LOL.) its quite obvious that we should give some really unique gifts on this valentine day and if you are on your way to gift Aakash Tablet to your GF then my dear brother you are in some problem..!! want to know what? then read this article and you will come to know.
1) The SUPER Resistive Display :
The display of aakash tablet is too resistive that your sweet girl friend has to hit it hard and chances are she might also get injury to her soft and gentle fingers, so in near future there are chances that instead of touching you gently she might hit you hard , the same way she treats the tablet. after using aakash tablet she thinks that I am also Resistive so she treats me the same way.

2) Battery Heats Up Quickly and so as SHE :
The first battery charging in Aakash Tablet requires at least 4 hours, which is quite obvious that it will require that much to get charged up but the problem is that every time it requires to charge minimum 4-5 hours and only then it will work. after getting charged for so long the another problem is that the battery gets HEATS UP very quickly that some times you think that are you holding a tablet or a Lava so it has direct impact on the behavior of my girl friend and she also HEATS UP on me 
.
3) Processor is Self Destructive – Now she is demanding iPad :
The processor of Aakash Tablet is of 366 MHz but I think the number is wrongly printed, it should be 66 MHz. the processor kills it self and even if you want to open a picture of 50KB it takes near about 5 minutes to get fully opened and after that you can see it properly so now it’s common sense that you will not ask me for video Output because i don’t have words to explain it.
So whenever we both are in some good mood(or I can say romantic mood) and seeing some pictures my Girl Friend gets so annoyed and angry on me due to this classic problem. One day we planned to watch some videos of our college fest and let me tell you some 5 minutes video we watched it for near about 15 minutes and that to in slow motion :) so now she is demanding iPad 2 from me.
4) Speaker with NO Sound :
Aakash Tablet comes with quick start up gudie, in quick start up guide they have clearly mentioned and displayed that Aakash tablet has speaker on the back side and the output is so great that you will not able to hear it, yes believe me. so if you are thinking like me that after gifting Aakash Tablet to your Girl Friend you will enjoy watching movies and listening some great songs then wake up..!! it’s high time for you to get in real life because it’s movies without Sound.

5) Headphone Output Acts as Speech Converter App :
Aakash Tablet has 3.5 mm Jack but they have not provided Head Phone in the package so you have to use your existing ones or have to buy it from the market. but wait don’t even dare to buy it because you are not aware of the audio quality. if you attached the head phone and play some song it will convert the original voice quality in to some funny speech just like Tom Cat(Which is much better). so the output in the head phone is also worst and this affects me because one day my Girl Friend was listing a song sung by me on guitar(yes I know how to play it) and she suddenly told me Are You a Bathroom Singer ??
6) Finger and Thumb Exercise for Your Girl Friend :
As I already mentioned about the display and its negative impact of Aakash Tablet, there is another thing which can damage the gentle fingers of your Girl Friend and that is to Switch On this tablet. it take near about 5-10 minutes to get it on and you have to continuously pressed it for 5-10 minutes and only after that it will switch on. so there are great chances that your sweetiepie can hurt her fingers and in the end you have to pay for it 
apart from hurting and all this will help to get exercise your fingers and thumb.
7) No Sharing and Caring :
It’s always said that sharing is the biggest caring and this is what is missing from Aakash Tablet. there is no Infrared (LOL), No Bluetooth so how the hell I can share my smart looking pic with my GF to get her more impressed or the other way How she can share her beautiful pictures with me?? using Mobile or what?? ya there is USB slot but for that I have to buy her Pen Drive also. so Aakash tablets lacks this main feature of Bluetooth.
8 ) No Calling And GPRS Facilities for Love Birds :
It’s quite common that if you are in relationship then the biggest benefit goes to your service provider. in Aakash Tablet there is no facilities like Calling or even the GPRS also. so you both can’t talk to each other or you can’t do video calling so this is a another drawback of Aakash Tablet. apart from calling there is no GPRS facilities so how to surf the Internet through Wi-Fi? so if she want’s to use Wi-Fi only then what is wrong to use it through Computer? so as a Boy Friend you have to provide her Wi-Fi Connection also and we know how costly is it
9) No Android Market : How my GF will get Games and App?
Another big set back for this Aakash Tablet is that there is NO Android Market, so it’s quite common question arises is that how to download games and applications? so how my Girl Friend will get app likes WhatsApps, Tom Cat, Asphalt (ya girls do play game like this) and others. but another problem associated with this is no GPRS so how to download through Wi-Fi this type of small problems counts a lot.
10 ) Can’t Handle 2GB and it’s Expandable upto 32GB :
It’s said that Aakash Tablet is expandable up to 32GB but let me tell it’s not able to handle 2GB also so how can you expect to handle up to 32GB? and I only gifted to my Girl Friend due to this only and in return I got bill of 32 GB Memory Card and that too she was telling me to get it replaced by some jewelry so this condition can be understood by boy only
So after reading this all point you all we will not dare to gift Aakash Tablet to your respective Girl Friend on this Valentine Day and instead give some other gift which can benefit you both in good ways. the above mentioned case is well practical and very well experimented by my self and my near one only so the result is fair enough for you.

In and all I am very much disappointed with Aakash Tablet, there are many features which are lacking in Aakash Tablet as I discussed above in some other way. so here is the round up related to that list only :
- The Display is too Bad and Too Resistive.
- Poor Battery.
- Processor is total waste.
- No Speaker and No headphones.
- Poor Instruction Guide.
- No GPRS, No Bluetooth.
- No Sim Card Facility.
- No Android Market.
- Memory Capacity is not Good.
So it’s advice to you all Boy Friends out there, think hundred times before buying Aakash Tablet as a valentine gift for your respective Girl Friend (yes I have to mentioned respective ) and advice to you all Girls if you are getting Aakash Tablet as a gift then be ready for some tuff time

According to me, you should not gift it to anyone. But as it costs just $50 & beats others at least in price, it’s not a bad idea to give it a try. I’m still waiting for my copy though.

I am not comparing it with iPad or any other tablet but it should at least provide some performance because people are spending Rs 3000/- also and it will be small amount for you but not for other.

Ya it has i had reviewed the first version i.e. Aakash- Ubislate7 but the new version will definitely have improvement but one thing will remain same and that is the Resistive Screen.

From this review, I don’t think I’ll ever get one of these tablets! The first thing that put me off is that the touch screen is too hard, I’m really pad at using touch screens anyway so I don’t think I’d get on very well with that.

Ya the touch is really on the down side and the another thing that covers touch is the processor, so it’s better to not to go for this and if you really want to go for aakash then wait till April they are coming with much improved version.
