Memory scan will scan the complicated area where a virus or other threat can be found, but my favorite is boot time scan it will scan when you PC will boot next time i.e. when you will restart your PC and this is the best scan option because there are many Rootkit and Malwares not get caught when you perform the full scan option but in boot scan it will check from your Kernel and which is quite good, not many antivirus has this feature.

I am using this antivirus since last 2 years and i am more than happy with this. i respect your opinion on but let me tell you that try out the trial version and see whether its good or not. has lots of features and flexibility is also good.

This is not a suite for advanced users. No firewall configuration no Hips. Secondly i could terminate all of quickheals processes in the 2011 version. Not sure if the 2012 version can sustain such attacks. Jeet can you give more information or atleast a head to head comparison between quickheal and another av say like kaspersky. You also forgot to mention Quickheal av pro lacks browsing and phishing protection. What is the best feature you like in suite please tell us.

Have you tried this AntiVirus? and if you have then there is option of firewall. well i will provide you head to head comparison in my future article on it. as compare to quick heal, kaspersky is totally waste the load is on too high side. i checked it on 5 different machine and result was totally disgusting.
Quick heal provides excellent security and if you know than there are three versions of quick heal :
1) Quick Heal AntiVirus.
2) Quick Heal Internet Security.
3) Quick Heal Total Security.

ok bro.. (symantec,McAfee and TrendMicro) Any one of these AV compare wt ur’s(Quick heel)
Already used Norton from Symantec and its lacks tons of features from auto deletion to the simple task also.
the load is on high side and which turns in to night mare if you are not using high RAM. Norton doesn’t provide the Boot time scan nor the KasperSky.
And finally it depends on the personal choice. you might dont like the Quick Heal but i only and only like this one because it has provided me every single thing which i wanted for the security purpose.

Yes but the firewall option is just limited to on or off. On the performance usage issue i agree with you. But when quickheal is using Agnitum ie the makes of outpost firewalls technology why dont they provide some options to configure the firewall. So are you currently using quickheal and which edition.
IF your using quickheal can you try one thing: Try killing quickheals processes with task manager. Under the 2011 version i was able to sucessfully do so and quickheal did not recover.
Your point is right but in the Total Security version there are lots of options are available and i am currently using the normal one which is “Quick Heal AntiVirus” and believe me its really very effective.
As far as this task manager task is concern you are right and i will also inform the company regarding this bug and i hope they can provide do some or the other thing on this particular problem. and thanks for telling this

I have never tried quick heal and nor have I heard of it much. I have been using big names like AVG, Avira, G-data, etc etc. When my current subscription expires than I will try this AV. However, why does it come with in-built firewall? I only need antivirus. I already use different firewall of outpost
Amit you would be pleased to know that quickheal uses agnitum outpost firewall technology for its own firewall. So remove outpost and give it a spin. I am using and really like it.
For detection purposes, it is excellent. File definitions are easily & quickly updated from within the program itself.
And of course they provide you an option to purchase the full version of virus removal of the program.
