AntiVirus is the most important thing in your computer and the more important thing is to have the best AntiVirus software so that your PC is fully or near about that protected and secure from outsides threats. Quick Heal is one of my favorite antivirus software and i recommend all my friends and relative to go for Quick Heal only. ya i know there are so many antivirus softwares available now-a-days in market but to select best is quit difficult job because in competition you have the world number one as per the some source BitDefender and following that Kaspersky and Norton and all but i strongly recommend for Quick Heal only 🙂 want to know the reason why i recommend Quick Heal AntiVirus than read out this article and you will come to know why.
Features and Detail Review of Quick Heal AntiVirus :
Quick Heal is a complete AntiVirus package and comes with many handy tools such as Anti Rootkit and Anti Malware and which are quite essential for you computer. i will explain you more about this tools in detail so go through the whole article. now lets start with what quick heals offer and what you can get from this?
Quick Heal is powerful and very user friendly antivirus software that protect your computer from the threats like Trojans, Malwares, Worms, Spyware and Hackers and many more. It also provides security against new and unknown threats with Quick Heal’s renowned DNAScan Technology. It utilizes minimum system resources, thereby giving complete protection to your system without slowing it down. now a days there are mobile antivirus also available but quick heal has build in feature, will also write post on mobile antivirus review.
Here the official words by them :
Quick Heal AntiVirus Pro protects your laptops and desktops and provides protection against malicious threats that can sneak into your system when you are browsing the Internet, checking mails, chatting, etc. Upon installation, it acts as a shield against viruses, worms, trojans, spywares and other malicious threats. It also provides security against new and unknown threats with Quick Heal’s renowned DNAScan® Technology. It utilizes minimum system resources, thereby giving complete protection to your system without slowing it down.
The home screen of Quick Heal is so user friendly and easy to use that even a non-computer user can operate it without any difficulty. see the below screenshot and you will come to know about it :
It provides various types of protection and excellent features like :
- Virus Protection.
- DNA Scan.
- Email Protection.
- Firewall Protection.
- Browsing Protection.
- Autorun Protection.
- and also provide feature of Scan external Drives.
In Files and folder setting you can customize the setting as per your need and improve the performance and make you system more protected, see the below screenshot of File & Folder settings :
after files & Folder setting other option is of email setting in which you can also turn on or turn off the setting as per your need but its always recommended to turn on your setting for better online protection because now-a-days there are number of emails which contains phishing only so its better to turn it on. See the below screenshot of Email Settings:
After the email setting the next option is of Internet and Network setting which contains Firewall settings and browser settings. again to turn on is more important rather than turn it off. see the screenshot of this setting.
the next settings is for External Drives which are most likely to be your USB drive like the Pen Drive and all. it very essential to secure external drive because maximum chances of getting infected are from this only, see the below screenshot :
apart from the various type of setting which i mentioned above, the user will also get different type of scanning option like :
- Full System Scan:
- Custom Scan.
- Memory Scan.
- Boot Time Scan.
in full system scan it will scan you entire PC to check for any threats are there or not, you can perform this full scan once in a week. in custom scan you can select the specific drive or directories to scan and look for any threat is there or not. Memory scan will scan the complicated area where a virus or other threat can be found, but my favorite is boot time scan it will scan when you PC will boot next time i.e. when you will restart your PC and this is the best scan option because there are many Rootkit and Malwares not get caught when you perform the full scan option but in boot scan it will check from your Kernel and which is quite good, not many antivirus has this feature.
the use will get other extra tools like Anti-Malware and Anti-Rootkit and which are excellent, scan for any minor issue and warn you against that. see the below screenshot of both this tools.
apart from this 2 tools there other tools also available see the blow list of tools available :
- Hijack Restore.
- Track Cleaner.
- Anti Rootkit.
- Create Emergency CD.
- Anti Malware.
you might be knowing all above mentioned tools but this “Create Emergency CD” is great and handy tool, by selecting this option you can create a emergency CD of quick heal antivirus and it helps you many time, like suppose your computer is infected with virus and its not booting up so now how to remove that virus, if you have this CD than just insert the CD and it will scan you whole computer and remove the Malwares and other threats so isn’t it handy? ya i know there are other ways also but this is good enough.
