Samsung launched their Flagship Android device few months ago, after which Apple showcased its iPhone 5, which instead of not much visible improvements tolled up and made sales records. Few weeks ago, Samsung introduced Galaxy Note II which looked like a bigger screen SGSIII but had S-pen functionality and few extra features. We cannot deny that the S-Pen and Quad Core Android team is enough to defeat iPhone 5 in any field. Let me give you brief intro of all 3 phones comparison we will be comparing on this article.

Apple’s iPhone5  is just a bigger iPhone 4S with features acclaimed as new one like earphone that directs sounds to ear and Camera with panorama. Equipped with A6 chip and iOS 6, it has all the latest Apple attractions like 8MP iSight Camera, bigger retina display etc. Samsung Galaxy SIII is a Quad core enabled phone with HSPA, NFC connectivity. Note II takes SGSIII steps ahead with bigger and better screen that has microwave technology to drive the S-Pen that provides multiple functionality to the device. The S-Pen has some awesome features; it’s what Magic mouse is to Apple Mac. Samsung has also taken care to design some exclusive apps for Note II that works with S-Pen.

Screen/ Display:

Samsung Galaxy Note II holds the best Super AMOLED 5.5 inch screen with 1280X720 Gorilla glass 2 screen. SGSIII has the same type of screen but a smaller 4.8 inch with the scratch protective coating. iPhone 5 is still stick to its 4inch Retina display with 1136X640 resolution. They are screaming everywhere about the Oleophobic finger print resistant coating, give it a break Samsung has scratch resistant screen. I would like to add that Note II has a special Microwave efficient layer below the screen that helps S-Pen works like a mouse. Researcher have already proved that Note 2 and SGS3 has better screen than iPhone 5.

Processor and Memory:

Apple has its own processor and chipset range and they have created A6 chips this time. SGSII features an Exynos 4 Quad core 1.4 Ghz processor and 1GB RAM. Note II has a 1.6Ghz processor on Exynos 4 Quad core chipset paired with Mali 400MP graphics with 2GB RAM. It’s clear that Note II is the winner, researchers have verified it through benchmark tests. If you are a fan of mobile gaming then Note II and SGSIII would be a serious choice due to the screen quality and power performance. Beside that Google Android Play store is now filled with games of all kind.

Camera:

Camera is one of the most important thing when you look into expensive phones like SGSIII, iPhone 5 and Galaxy Note II. All 3 phones have equally looking 8MP camera with 1080p@30fps video recording. The front camera is pretty same as well that can record HD videos @720p. I would take side of Galaxy Note II because it has a S-Pen that makes photo editing a fun.

Connectivity:

Wi-FI, Bluetooth, 3G are common connectivity features in all 3 phones. iPhone 5 do not comes with 4G LTE connectivity, you will be missing NFC too. It’s pretty clear that SGSIII and Note II have good sides when connectivity is concerned.

Verdict:

iPhone 5 is good but not the great thing now. I would take side of Galaxy Note II as it has some extra features that will increase the productivity and fun quotient. Note II has all the power and features that you can get at its price range. Still there is no phone or Tablet in the market that has such  specs and quality.
