It has some really cool features and sounds which every Android user want to get but unfortunately due to it’s Price factor only few or the one which can afford to buy can get this cool Smartphone, But not any more. Thanks to team RemICS now you can enjoy all/maximum features of Samsung Galaxy S3 on your Samsung Galaxy S i9000.

Galaxy S users were quite disappointed including me as it’s going to get any update of ICS so they have to depend on Custom ROM only to get experience and feel of ICS and now Jelly Bean. but thanks to many custom ROM developer out there it’s now possible to get this. in this tutorial I will be explaining to you How To Get Galaxy S3 pure look on Galaxy S using RemICS-UX Custom ROM.

Backup Your Important Data :

This procedure and update will wipe your personal information such Messages, Contacts, APN, Bookmarks so it’s recommended and advised that you must take a backup of all your important data so in future you don’t face any type of difficulty.

Recommended Backup Application : Go Backup – Complete solution for your backup.

with Go Backup you can backup all your application and data(only rooted), SMS, Contacts and restore it after flashing the new firmware or ROM.

Procedure To Get Pure Galaxy S3 Look On Your Galaxy S i9000 :

If you are already on any type ICS custom ROM then directly follow from Step 3.

1. Now if you are not using any ICS ROM and coming from Stock Samsung ROM then you must first flash XXJW4 firmware : Complete Guide.
2. After this you have to ROOT your device on XXJW4 firmware : Complete Guide To Root on XXJW4 Firmware.
3. First download the latest RemICS-UX Custom ROM from their official site (Current version is 1.3.1) : Download Link.
4. Copy .zip file which you have downloaded in step 3 to your phone’s internal SD card. (Don’t extract the .zip file.).
5. Now turn off your phone and go in to Recovery Mode by pressing Volume Up + Home Button + Power Button, now use Volume up and down button to navigate and power/home button for selection.
6. As we are installing a new ROM we have to perform a full wipe so as to get better performance but before that if you want you can do a Nandroid Backup by going to backup and Restore section and generate a backup from there.
7. Now select Wipe Data/Factory Reset >> Yes – Delete all user data and perform a data wipe. (Don’t worry you will not loose your data as it will only remove the applications and it’s data).
8. Next select Wipe Cache Partition >> Yes – Wipe Cache and perform this wipe.
9. Next select Advance >> Wipe Dalvik Cache and perform Dalvik Cache Wipe also.
10. Now the next part is to flash this ROM, so select Install Zip From SD Card >> Choose Zip From SD Card >> Select the file which you have transferred to your internal SD Card in step 4 and click Yes to confirm the installation.
11. For the first time in 3-4 seconds your device will be rebooted and you will be in bootloop, Don’t worry just remove your battery and reinsert it and go to Recovery Mode by pressing Volume Up + Home Button + Power Button.
12. Now repeat the step 10 and this time it will take more time and it will successfully flash the new RemICS-UX ROM.
13. That’s it, Congratulations you have successfully installed the RemICS-UX ROM on your Samsung Galaxy S i9000 and now you can enjoy ans experience the feel and look of Samsung Galaxy S3.
